We’re proud to announce that Cleveland Clinic London’s Environmental Services (EVS) team has achieved Platinum status in the Continuous Advancement Programme (CAP) Awards 2025, following three consecutive years of Gold.

The CAP recognises excellence and the highest standards across healthcare and other industries, making this a huge milestone for our EVS caregivers.

This achievement reflects the team’s dedication to delivering compassionate, patient-centred services and maintaining a clean, safe environment that supports outstanding care.

The Montefiore Hospital’s Housekeeping team has been awarded the prestigious ‘Gold’ CAP (Continuous Advancement Programme) award following the latest unannounced visit. 🏆

The CAP Award for housekeeping is designed to assess technical cleaning standards, infection control protocols, and consistent application of best practices. The unannounced assessment aims to experience the real-time hygiene and environmental safety being delivered to patients, staff, and visitors.

Jolanta Trzeciak, Housekeeping Manager commented 💬 “This achievement showcases the commitment our Housekeeping team has towards maintaining a safe and clinical environment, whilst meeting the highest standards for patient experience. The CAP award recognises the hard work that goes into the meticulous daily routines and the 'behind-the-scenes' efforts that keep our hospital running smoothly. Our team understands that a clean environment is fundamental to patient recovery and peace of mind, and this 'Gold' status is a testament to their unwavering attention to detail.”

Spire Cheshire Hospital’s Catering team has been awarded the prestigious ‘Gold’ CAP (Continuous Advancement Programme) award following the latest unannounced visit.

The CAP Award programme is designed to assess the standards for food preparation, service delivery and best practice. The aim of the live assessment is to experience the service in real time that is being received by patients, staff, visitors and consultants.

Jill Crewe, Hotel Services Manager, commented, “This achievement showcases the commitment our Catering team have towards ensuring that all nutritional and dietary needs are met throughout the hospital, whilst meeting the highest standards for patient experience. The CAP award recognises the hard work that goes into providing a consistently excellent level of service over the course of the year.”

The CAP Inspector said, “Well done to all involved, the Catering team and at the Spire Cheshire Hospital. The team and the Hospital should be commended on their achievement and their ambitions for patient well-being. Congratulations to the Catering team!"

This award recognises outstanding catering services through the Continuous Advancement Programme (CAP), celebrating organisations that consistently demonstrate the highest standards of hygiene, service, efficiency, and operational excellence.

Spire London East Hospital was awarded a second successful Gold CAP Award following the latest unannounced assessment by the CAP Award Programme (Continuous Advancement Programme for Housekeeping).

This is an inspiring achievement for the housekeeping team and all involved at the hospital.

The CAP Inspector said, “The sense of unity and determination from within the housekeeping team and the Hospital as a whole was striking. The housekeeping team’s role is of vital importance in terms of patient well-being. The support from the whole Hospital in delivering of their cleaning roles makes for an exceptional service. Hospital housekeeping seen at its best.”

Adam Wickenden, Operations Director at Spire London East Hospital, said “A huge congratulations to our outstanding housekeeping team on achieving their second successive Gold CAP Award! This is a remarkable accomplishment which reflects their unwavering commitment, professionalism and the pride they take in their work. “This award is a testament to the dedication, hard work and exceptional standards upheld by our amazing housekeeping team”.

Along with the recognition, it is also fantastic to hear that they are celebrating with a special breakfast to show the Hospital’s appreciation for the Housekeeping team’s continuous effort and commitment to excellence.

This recognition is truly well deserved.

Congratulations to the Housekeeping team at the Priory Hospital in Edgbaston. A shining performance during their recent unannounced assessment visit resulted in the team and Hospital being accredited at the Gold Standard CAP Award.

Impressively, this also marked their standing at the Gold Award for the second year in a row.

This fantastic achievement celebrates their dedication to maintaining exceptional cleanliness and safety standards at the Hospital. It helps ensure a safe and welcoming environment for everyone at The Priory.
